cooking with a toddler

I wanted my 17 month old daughter to help me with making a cake. Well needless to say she had fun. I ended with a very slippery floor.

 She loves to help and I let her pour the ingredients, when she got to the oil it ended up on me and the kitchen floor. She also liked that she could stand on a chair, when that is usually a no no.

 She watched the cake while it cooked, saying yummy yummy

  I let her have a little taste of the batter, lil miss chocolate face.

We will frost it later and I will try to take some pics of that mess too. lol
